The Perfects embodies the sound of yesterday while embracing the technology and ideas of today. Rooted in the influences that span the decade of the 80s and well into the 21st century The Perfects easily established themselves as more then a niche and a band who's future burns bright with the promise of a real career. Founding member Ric Peters started The Perfects in 2005. Heading into the studio with Nic Hard in 2006 (The Bravery, The Church), The Perfects came back with the self titled EP winning over critics and new fans alike. Having remix work done by superstar DJ Richard Vission for their song "Shipwrecked" and doing the remix for Mindless Self Indulgence "What do They Know?" on the MSI EP "Another Mindless Ripoff" the band started to gain momentum. Securing their position as an up and coming band with exciting live shows where fans have stated "the lead singer brought crazy energy to the stage" The Perfects we're well on their way. In 2007 a change of events took place that was to take The Perfects in a new positive direction. Ric Peters moved on becoming the principal writer for the band. The Perfects are currently working on a full length album with Nic Hard. Working with a team of producers, djs and engineers that have worked with such artists as Madonna, Justin Timberlake, David Bowie and Garbage to name a few The Perfects new material promises to be every bit as exciting and pleasing as the past incarnation with the type of sonic ear candy that gets people onto the dance floor and singing along in their head staying with them long after the fact. The future is now.
